Ladies ~ sharing your hearts with us on Saturday meant more than you could ever know! You eloquently and lovingly reminded us that even in the midst of grief, we can find healing and Hope.

We are so sorry for the pain that you have experienced in the loss of your precious children, and we love you tremendously for the bravery and strength that it took to walk onto that stage and share your stories!

We know that it wasn't easy.

Words cannot fully express our gratitude.

2024 Mentorship Training for Volunteers

We are so grateful for all of our volunteers!

We would not be who we are without the loving and compassionate support of the parents who have poured their time and hearts into helping Blue Water Hope to bring healing, opportunity, prayer, and encouragement to the Blue Water area.

If you are a bereaved parent who would like to join us in bringing grief support to parents in our community, please contact us to join our team of volunteers.

Fill out our contact form for more information and to let us know how you would like to help!

In 2024, Blue Water Hope was thankful to participate in two wonderful grief programs that were brought to our area by the Pollock-Randall Funeral Home ~

* Dr. Alan Wolfelt's Grief and Loss Program was held at Port Huron Northern High School on Tuesday, October 15th, 2024.

This event was for those personally living with the grief and loss of loved ones and was open to the public free of charge.

Mr. Wolfelt was an energetic and thoughtful speaker who offered many good ideas to encourage attendees along their own personal journeys of grief.

We hope that Mr. Wolfelt's community event will be brought back to our area in the coming years!

(For more information, please visit the Pollock-Randall website here.)

* Dr. Alan Wolfelt's One-Day Seminar for Professionals was held at Alexander's Premier Banquet Facility in Marysville on Wednesday, October 16th, 2024.

This seminar was for nurses, hospice personnel, clergy, counselors, and all caregivers in the field of grief.

Continuing education hours were approved for this event.

A delicious breakfast and lunch was catered by Alexanders. Attendees enjoyed Mr. Wolfelt's energetic and charismatic personality as he taught them various ways of companioning grievers.

This was a wonderful training event that we hope will be brought back to our area in the coming years!
