Opportunity

We are all at different points along our journeys of grief.

Some need help ...

... and others are ready to help.

Blue Water Hope believes that community support after the death of a child can improve the mental health and physical well-being of those who find themselves living through unimaginable loss.

Grief is intensely personal and affects everyone differently.

We are here to help ~ however you need it.

We aim to connect with bereaved parents within our community through coffee dates, support groups, emailing and texting support, speaking engagements and events, volunteer training, healing retreats, and more.

Keep an eye on this page for new events and local groups hosted by Blue Water Hope.

Also stop by our Family & Community Resources page for additional events, grief share groups, and other valuable sources of partnership to encourage and help your family through this difficult time.

Contact Us if you have any additional needs or if you would like more information regarding volunteer opportunities.

An Evening of Hope

Join us for dinner and encouragement from two local bereaved parents from the Blue Water area as they share stories of their children and their families' journeys of grief and healing.

This year, we will be welcoming two dear friends whose journeys through child loss will encourage us & remind us that grief does not have to be carried alone.

Sandy Schultz will be sharing the story of her twin sons,

Jacob & Joshua Conant

&

Austin Carroll will be sharing about fatherhood and the lives of his infant sons,

Samuel & James

We would be honored to have you join us for this heartfelt and emotional evening of love, strength, & hope!

Registration is for bereaved parents - you are welcome to bring along your spouse, a friend, or other support.

If you are planning to come alone, we have some gentle and loving volunteers who would love to sit with you!

There is no cost for this event.

Registration is requested so that we are able to give a headcount to the caterer and have enough seating and resources available for those attending.

(However, if you find that you are brave enough to join us at the last moment - or even a bit late - please stop by and we will find you a comfortable seat and a dinner plate! We have all been there before... sometimes we don't know if we will be able to attend until we are sitting in our chair the night of the event. Hugs!)

You can sign up by sending us a note here.
